Fee (Fiona) McMurray - Founder and Director of Art Therapy Worx, Art Therapist, Holistic Counsellor and practising artist

Fee (Fiona) McMurray is a compassionate and highly experienced Art Therapist with a Master’s in Therapeutic Arts Practice. She believes deeply in the power of creativity as a pathway to self-expression, healing, and personal growth.

At the heart of Fee’s work is a genuine understanding of what it means to feel different. As someone who is neurodiverse, with ADHD and autistic traits, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience into the therapy space. This allows her to connect with clients in a way that feels authentic, respectful, and deeply supportive.

Fee created Art Therapy Worx as a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where people of all ages can explore who they are—without judgment. Whether through art therapy or counselling, she gently guides clients to express emotions, build confidence, and make sense of their experiences in ways that feel natural to them.

She has a special interest in supporting children, teens, and adults navigating Autism, ADHD, disability, anxiety, depression, trauma, and those who identify as LGBTQIA+. Her approach is flexible and client-led, honouring each person’s unique story and goals.

As a registered member of ANZACATA and an NDIS-registered provider, Fee offers a professional, ethical, and trusted service, including support with NDIS goals and reporting.

If you’re looking for a space where creativity meets understanding, Art Therapy Worx offers a place to be seen, heard, and supported—just as you are. 🌿✨

Meet “Jimmy”, the Art Therapy Assistant Cat.

This little guy is a rescue cat. He's very curious, cuddly, and smoochy and loves to make you feel welcome at our Gippsland Art Therapy studio. Telehealth clients have the pleasure of a “Jimmy appearance” too!

Jimmy believes he’s the head honcho at Art Therapy Worx (the crown kind of gives that away!)

We think he missed the memo about his Job Description, though, as we’re sure it didn’t list his most important task as mostly napping!!
